As an avid fan of both the Wave and smooth jazz, I would like to extend huge congratulations and big thanks to everyone that made the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards a great success! The Old Mill post party was off the wall with our very own Robert Tardik (Guitarist of the Year) and Carson Freeman (Wind Instrumentalist of the Year) jamming on stage with the greats of Peter White, Marc Antoine and Greg Adams. I also had the pleasure of hearing Paul Lamoureux (Toronto based fabulous saxman) also jam with the best of the best! Paul even does his own vocals on his latest CD appropriately named "Decaf Life". Truly a multi-talented artist and Canadian! I hope the Wave plays some of his music real soon (I love the way he covers Gino Vanelli) Once again, thank you to all for your tireless efforts! ~Char~ on Facebook and looking forward to meeting more smoothies and keeping smooth jazz alive!

What a weekend! What a cool blast! The Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards weekend was pure fun. What a privilege it was to share the stage at the Old Mill with greats like Zonjic, White, Antoine, and Paul Brown, as well as Carson Freeman and Robert Tardik and so many others.
