Let Vickie Van Dyke brighten up your midday!

Vickie  is not only our favourite mid-day host, but also a singer, songwriter,  actress, writer, wannabe comedienne. Her drama degree (& background  in musical theatre) led to a stint on the road with her own band, which  led to the recording of her original material, which led to work in  radio (which she insists is really not work at all).

She  has written for television and newspaper, and hopes to soon mount a  self-penned cabaret-style musical featuring the great standards of  Rodgers and Hart. Her jazz trio performs regularly and she has just  begun work on a semi-autobiographical novel.

Vickie  was thrilled to be the recipient of the first ever Canadian Smooth Jazz  Broadcaster of the Year award (mostly because she is a self-professed  "broad"!).
